Items of the Alpha bar and bumper
This section describes each of the items in a little more detail
1) ROGUE OHIO BAR
The Rogue Ohio bar is the backbone of the Rogue barbell portfolio. It was one of the first barbell models to be produced in Columbus Ohio. You will get a 190,000 PSI steel bar with dual knurling. The Ohio bar is the best value for money option in the Rogue barbell portfolio.
If you want to add a splash of color you might want to look into the Fraser or Froning edition of the Ohio bar. Weightlifters might want to have a look at the IWF approved Pyrros bar and powerlifters might like the Thor bar.
If you want a more budget-friendly alternative can be found with the Echo bar or find a deal on Rogues boneyard.

To get you ready to lift heavy. Bumper plates are a great option as they can be used outside or indoors. They will also last for a long time and take a beating. Drop them from overhead or abuse them in many other ways, they will be forgiving. Only weak points are design, precision and space requirements.
The regular bumper plates only come in black. If you want your plates to be color-coded you can opt for the training plates, RR plates or competition plates.
To save money in production, the quality controls on bumper plates are not as tight as for competition and calibrated steel plates. This means that it is more likely that the actual weight of the plate will differ slightly from what is stated on the plate.
The last thing is that you can only get up to 400 to 500 pounds on your barbell if you use bumper plates. So if you have some very strong dudes around you might also want to get some steel plates.
(1) SET OF SPRING COLLARS
Spring collars are the worldwide standard to keep plates on the plate rather than them sliding off mid-lift. Spring collars are more likely to scratch your barbell than hg collars if you were looking for an upgrade.
