Overview of the T3 24”

The T3 TITAN main distinguishing point from other racks in the lineup is its 2x3 steel tube design. You can also get 2x2 and 3x3 builds from TITAN at either a lower or higher entry cost. The T3 Titan rack is one of the best value for money models from TITAN as it sits right in the middle of their rack portfolio. It comes in two different height versions and depth versions. This particular one is the Tall version combined with 24' depth. This is the option to go for if you are tall, but do not have the space to get a rack which is 36' deep. The exact features and specifications of this model are:

T3 Rack details

  • 2"x 3" steel tubes.
  • 1,100 LB rackable capacity
  • 4,400 LB total rack capacity.
  • 1.25" and 2" diameter pull up bars.
  • Includes J-Hooks and weight holders.
  • Weight: 281 LB
  • Height: 91 1/8"
  • Height of Pull Up Bar: 89"

  • Inside Depth: 24"
  • Outside Depth: 32 3/4"

This rack will be easy on your wallet while still providing you with a great rack. If you squat more than 500 pounds on a regular basis you might want to consider to get a 3x3 tube design, just so that your equipment matches your strength. 2x3 will still suffice, just shake a little more when you drop the weight back into the hooks.

Pros of the T3 24” depth

As with all TITAN products you save a lot of money compared to other vendors in the market. This is usually the main argument for going down the TITAN route. Apart from this, you get a spacious rack in which you can freely move, squat and bench press. It will do the trick for your home needs.

Cons of the T3 24” depth

As it is not that deep you will have not a lot of space to get extra attachments installed. If you are planning on using it with multiple athletes at the same time or for movements which need a lot of maneuvering you might want to get something bigger. In addition, the low budget price of TITAN comes with a hook. There tend to be more reports about TITAN for deliveries with scratches, blemishes on the finish or other quality issues. This doesn't make the rack a defect and if you like it rough you might not even care. However, if you are purchasing to feel good about yourself or represent your business this might not be what you are looking for or at least need to take into consideration as a possible risk when you hit purchase.

Alternatives to the T3 24” depth

Alternatives to the T3 tall rack are

If you need a tall rack because of your size and have the space to fit a 36” depth rack into your gym, garage or basement you can also opt for the 36” version. This way you can have multiple athletes on the rack or get a bit more exotic in your exercise selection.

If you want to save space and have 3x3 steel tubing you can also go for the X3 Half rack. If you use it like a squat stand rather than a full rack, you can use the second set of uprights to store plates on.

If you don’t need plate storage and want the freedom of a squat stand you can opt for the  X3 squat stand instead. Just be aware that it would be a good to have space to drop the bar as spotter arms can not always be relied on.

Summary for the T3 Tall 24” rack

A good budget option for an all-purpose to fir in places with high ceilings but not a lot of square-foot.
