In Ireland you have boxes in Dublin, Bray, Kilkenny, Galway and Cork. I bet there are more, but these are the first ones that pop up when you do a Google search. In this article I compare the investments you have to make to start your journey in Ireland.
Most places in Ireland have a compulsory elementary class before they let you train freely in their gym or join the regular classes. For some you have to attend classes and whatever they do, others leave you a bit more leeway to do your own thing.
If you have never worked with a barbell before, I would highly recommend the elementary course. These are not just rip offs to make more money as barbell work can be complex and potentially dangerous, if you do not know how to do it.

All of them have programs that give you more discount if you pay for a longer period upfront. The packages usually limit your attendance to 3 - 4 classes a week. Here you can already see, that it is not like a "gym subscription", where you can come and go as you please. You have to be there when class is on. Expect to pay around 100€ - 150€ a month for doing crossfit, depending on where you go and which program you pick. As all of the boxes seem in the same price range I would recommend to you to check if you like the style of the gym and the people.
