I have used mine for a year for squats up to a 150kg / 330lbs and I am all around satisfied. Adidas Powerlift 2.0: 1 year review

The Adidas Powerlift 2.0 is a shoe which I have been using for a year now. I have the older version, but the 2.0 Update is just an optical one, making it available in more colours and the strap more fancy. All in all this is a great shoe for someone starting out with weightlifting who is not doing the volume, high load or does not have the money to justify a purchase of an Adipower or Nike Romaleo shoe.

Wrist warps are something you can consider when you are getting serious about lifting. The Gangsta Wraps are the most recommended on youtube and amongst heavy lifters. Here is my take on them after using them for two weeks. They are a good addition to every gym bag.

Crossfit Equipment: Monolift Station

A monolift already describes quite well what this is. It is designed for very high load squats especially used in the westside method and by powerlifters. You will see these machines in several meet videos. These things are massive, bulky and more or less purpose build. So do not read on, if you are not generally interested in powerlifting or assembling your own gym, because you will waste your time.

If you are serious about training you will do everything possible to enhance your performance for the long distance runs and metcons you will perform. Apart from loading your muscles with enough iron, vitamin d and protein and training them until they burn, you can also train your lungs to take in more oxygen and stimulate your blood stream to take up more of the same.

Best Knee sleeves from Rehband review

I personally own the Rehband Froning series. It matches my black and red Adidas weight lifting shoes and the Garmin forerunner 220. I did not plan this, but it works. Once you get serious about lifting I would recommend to get a pair.

Best gym shorts

I have owned running shorts, judo trousers, skins, jogging pants, jeans, shinos, suite trousers, you name it. Fight shorts are by far the most comfortable and best pair of leg cloth i have owned so far. They are a bit pricey, but worth every euro.
