Most likely the 20kg bar is too heavy for you. Start with dumbbells or kettlebells which are lighter to progress to the barbell.

Barbell rows are not necessary for the gym. You can replace them with dumbbell rows. Still, many elite lifters report that a higher deadlift can be established by rowing more.

Curls are good for your biceps. Barbell curls are bad for your wrists. Therefore do curls, but with an EZ bar or dumbbell.

Barbell curls are not a compound exercise as they do not use multiple joints to execute the movement. It is a good isolated exercise for the biceps.
