If you have time to pay attention to each muscle group separately do the row combined with other exercises. If you have little time the deadlift is your friend.

Barbell squats can be bad for your back when executed wrong. Take your time to learn and load the movement. When you pay attention barbell squats bear the same risk of injury as other physical activity that actually makes a difference.

The main reasons to front squat are variety and speed when compared to the back squat. Build some basic strength with the back squat first and mix one day of front squats in later.

Barbell curls are bad for your wrists and can be swapped for EZ bar curls or dumbbell curls. As the curl is not usually not done for one repetition maximum efforts go with the alternatives to save your wrists from harm.

To barbell shoulder press set up the bar at shoulder height in the rack. Get under the bar and drive the bar up. Take care of your shoulder mobility to prevent injury.

You can hold in the middle, close or wide. Close puts emphasis on the triceps while wide maximizes chest pump. The middle is the way to go to post big one repetition maximums.
