Rack pulls are worth it for bodybuilders and powerlifters in specific scenarios. For bodybuilders when they could not get their traps and lower back bigger or more refined through good mornings and for powerlifters as a partial deadlift to get used to a big weight that they can't handle from the ground yet. Both scenarios apply to a very small percentage of the population, therefore, in most cases, go with Romanian deadlifts instead. Safer and needs less equipment.
