There are mainly two ways in the market of going about a rack with a lat pull down. Either you have a solid lat pulldown including the weight plates build or attached to the rack or a flimsy pulley system that uses the plates you already have. If you have space and budget go for the sturdy version. If you don't go for the makeshift solution as some lat pulls are better than no lat pulls whatsoever.
