If you are mainly about performance goals for sports Stringlifts is the better bet. If you are mainly after looks go for bodybuilding. If you want to compete in strength sports it also can make sense to put the main focus on bodybuilding first to build some muscle.

Comparing the leg press and deadlift is a case of apples and oranges. A better pairing would be the squat and the deadlift. The leg press will mainly focus on the legs while the deadlift does train most of your body. The leg press has a lower risk of injury in turn and is easier to learn. You will need specialized machines which take up a lot of space to do the leg press.

The main driver of fat loss is your diet. GVT is a program most suited for muscle gain and therefore not ideally paired with the goal of fat loss. HIIT and prolonged cardio are the better programs to achieve the goal of fat loss.
