Overview of the TITAN 8 Bag boxing stand

The TITAN 8 bag boxing stand is the biggest boxing stand you can get from TITAN. If you have space and can bolt it to the ground it is a solid tool to get more bags up in a commercial gym with high ceilings. In other scenarios, it is probably overkill. The full specifications of this stand are:

- Easy bolt together design.
- Holds up to 8 bags of any size.
- 360-degree access to each bag.
- 8 Eye hooks to hang bags.
- Can be collapsed into a 4 bag stand.

- Height: 8-ft
- Footprint: 12-ft x 6-ft
- Base Plates: 6-in x 4-in
- Material: 3-in x 3-in steel tubing.
- Capacity: 300 lbs. per Hook | 2400 lbs.total
- Weight: 405 lbs.

This is a massive rig to hang bags on which leaves you with a solid foundation and a lot of space to work with your boxing clients.

Pros of the TITAN 8 Bag boxing stand

The pros of the TITAN 8 bag boxing stand are:

  • Many eyehooks
  • Space to circle the bags
  • Solid rig

This is a solid solution and I especially like it because you can work with different bag configurations to maximize free movement around them. If you want to hang a lot of bags whilst having the space to navigate around them, then this is the best you can get from TITAN.

Cons of the TITAN 8 bag boxing stand

The cons of the 8 Bag boxing stand from TITAN are:

  • Size
  • Price

Do you really need 8 bags in your gym and want to pay about $1000 just to have a station to hang them on? I think for most people and commercial gyms the answer will be no. Especially, if the ceilings are low and you can use them to hang bags.

Alternatives to the TITAN 8 bag boxing stand

The alternatives for the TITAN 8 bag boxing bag are:

Out of the entire TITAN boxing stand line up, I like this one the least. The reason os that the uprights are too close to the bags in this setup. It limits how you can move around the bag even though you are paying extra bucks to them mounted. If you need a lot of bags, go for the 8 bag stand and leave some space. If you want to hang 4 bags, get two of the two bag heavy stands from TITAN so you can decide how far you want to put them apart.

The heavy-duty 2 bag stand is a great option to hang four bags but with more space between the individual bags. With this you can move freely around the bags, while still being able to hang some pretty heavy ones.

Conclusion for the TITAN 8 bag boxing stand

The 8 bag heavy stand is a great option when you want to hang a lot of bags in your gym while still being able to circle around them

Good and simple sturdy bag to punch the crap out of.

Pros of the TITAN Power strike punching bag

The pros of the TITAN Power strike punching bag are:

  • Extra-wide
  • Small
  • Easy to move by one person
  • Price

This is a bag that has extra depth to it which makes it fun to punch. Compared to a 4 foot or 5-foot punching bag it is easier to move by one person and takes up less for print on the gym when stored away. For the price tag, you can not really complain.

Cons of the TITAN Power strike punching bag

The cons of the TITAN Power strike punching bag are:

  • No body punches
  • Can swing a lot

With this bag, you will not be able to do a full boxing workout, as it does not allow for simulating body punches. As the bag is quite short it is more likely to swing than a regular punching bag.

Alternatives to the TITAN Power strike punching bag

The TITAN Muay Thai boxing bag is a classic punch bag with no added thrills or frills. You get a 72-in punch bag for a reasonable price and might even get more than just one at a time.

The 88lb TITAN punching bag is the flagship TITAN punching bag when it comes to weight. There is no heavier bag you can get from TITAN at the current state, so if that is what you want, go with this one.

The pivoting Reflex Trainer can be fixed to the wall to train your ducking and blocking skills. The arm rotates and you can duck it or block it. Basically, a boxing bag that punches back. The only disadvantage is that you can not really punch it hard.

The RDX free-standing punch bag is an easy solution for the home or in a commercial gym. With its suction cups and the fillable base, you can fix it in place and weigh it down. While it is versatile it is not ideal for real boxing training, as the base hinders you from getting close to the punch bag.

The RDX heavy punching bag comes in various colors and sets. This is a great starter bag to get ready at your home with a full set of gloves, wall mount, and other little starter gimmicks like a jumping rope.

The RDX hanging filled face is an option if you want to have a bag that is shaped more like a human but is not as expensive as a Terry Torso.

Conclusion for the TITAN Power strike punching bag

The TITAN power strike punching bag is good if you want to remove it often from the hook and exchange it for different toys often. It can also be a good idea when you want to practice hitting a moving head with your foot as speed bags usually do not take too kindly to that. Apart from this shouldn't be your first bag, as you can not incorporate a full routine with it.
