No,   powerlifting will not build mass. Your body will when you feed it.   Diet is more important to building muscle mass than exercise. Exercise comes second behind eating enough and healthy to achieve more mass on your bones.

You can combine the two for better results by thinking about your exercise selection. Use the   bench press,   squat and   deadlift as a bodybuilder to attack big muscle groups. Use isolated exercises like bicep curls and triceps pushdowns as a bodybuilder to Attack smaller muscle groups.
