In 1996 I was doing Judo for four years and got my blue belt. This was also the zear in which I had to change school and class for the first time as I moved on from elementary skill. While this happening France let its last nuclearbomb go off and Coldplay and Linkin Park were founded. Yes i know you die hard Linkin Park fans out there that this is a bit more complex than that. I turned ten in 1995 and it was the zear after my grandmother died in whose we lived after my mother got seperated from my father.To be gonest apart from that I can not really remember much about it. While people got massacred in Srebrenica in a war that would redefine the entire area which is is just a ferry ride away from the east coast bands like the Foofighters, Nickelback and Slipknot were founded. Focus and balance are important to perform well under stress in sports as well as business. Yet we often overlook that stopping, cleansing our mind from clutter and focusing might be just the way to achieve these means. A hot topic around CrossFit, weightlifting and powerlifting is the depth of your squat and whether you should squat Ass to Grass and how far you have to go below parallel. Before even going there from my personal experience and from what I can see around me it is vital to first establish the mobility to even have the debate of squatting low. I tried a lot of static stretching and dynamic stretching to fix my shortened Achilles tendons to squat deeper. Once I started to focus on the hips and further the kinetic chain with Cossack squats and overhead squats I got results. Read this to see what works and what to avoid.
