Crossfit equipment: Wooden rings
Never would I have imagined to own a pait of wooden rings myself one day. I've chopped wood in the past and did a lot of Judo, but the idea was just odd to me, when i read the first recommendation for them in the crossfit Journal to do the workout of the day called Elizabeth. Now I must say, I should've gotten more use out of them earlier in my life.
I bought mine of rogue fitness, one of the main sponsors of the crossfit athletes, for 68.00€. They got shipped within a week. Well packaged and very satisfied with my second order from them.
The rings are easily installed at a power rack in your near gym, if you do not have a crossfit box membership to do the necessary exercises. Remember to follow the instructions given, as incorrect usage will lead to injury.
exercises to do with the rings:
Elizabeth
A complex of 21-15-9 repetitions of Rings dips and 60kg cleans for time.
J.T.
A complex of 21-15-9 repetitions of Handstand push ups, Ring Dips and Push ups for time
Wilmot
6 rounds for time of 50 Air Squats & 25 Ring Dips
